We’re excited to offer a 10% discount on tuition fees to families joining Nova Pioneer through our Feeder School Partnership Programme with selected schools. If you’re getting ready for Grade 1 or High school, here’s everything you need to know!
1. Who’s Eligible?
- Partner Schools: The 10% discount is available exclusively to families whose children are transferring to Nova Pioneer from one of our Partner Schools, those that have an agreement with Nova Pioneer as feeder schools.
- Check if Your School Is a Partner: Parents should contact their school or Nova Pioneer directly to confirm if their child’s current school is part of our partnership programme.
- Grade Eligibility for Discount: The 10% discount only applies to the first grade your child enters at Nova Pioneer that is not offered by your child’s Partner School. This means:
- If the Partner School does not offer Grade 1, your child will receive the 10% discount when they start Grade 1 at Nova Pioneer.
- However, if your child switches to Nova Pioneer for a grade that is already offered by the Partner School (e.g., Grade R), the discount will not apply.
2. The Discount Details
- How Much: You’ll receive a one-time 10% discount on the total tuition fees for your child’s first year at Nova Pioneer in the grade that’s not offered by the Partner School.
- Payment Plans:
- Monthly Payments: The discount will be split equally over 11 months.
- Termly Payments: The discount will be spread across the three terms.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Please note, the discount does not apply to non-refundable application or enrolment fees.
- The discount will apply to tuition fees only and not
- Aftercare fees
- Extracurricular programmes
- Uniforms, stationery, or transport
- Or any other ad hoc fees.
3. How to Apply for the Discount
- Eligibility for Discount: To qualify, the student must be exiting the Partner School at an official exit point (e.g., the end of a grade) and joining Nova Pioneer.
- Non-Transferrable: This discount is tied to the specific child named in the enrolment contract and cannot be transferred to a sibling or any other student.
- No Cash Substitution: The discount can’t be converted to cash or refunded—it’s strictly for tuition fees.
4. Enrolment Conditions
- Space Availability: A spot at Nova Pioneer is subject to space availability in the grade your child is enrolling in.
- Entry Assessments: Every student will need to successfully complete an entry assessment to ensure they’re ready for their new grade.
- Affordability Assessment: Families must also complete an affordability assessment as part of the admissions process to qualify for the discount.
- Enrolment Documentation: Families are required to submit the necessary enrolment documentation as part of the application process.
5. Exclusions
- Fee Arrears: The discount will not apply if your fee account is in arrears at any point—whether at the Partner School or at Nova Pioneer if you’re already a Nova Pioneer parent enrolling a sibling.
- Scholarships & Bursaries: If your child qualifies for a scholarship or bursary from Nova Pioneer, they will not be eligible for the 10% discount. Instead, the financial assistance based on the scholarship or bursary will apply.
- Nova Pioneer staff do not qualify for this discount.
